Hyundai to Unveil Tucson SUV at Auto Expo 2016
Hyundai motor India will be all over the Delhi Auto Expo next month where it plans on unveiling 17 vehicles including the Tucson SUV, Elantra and its luxury ‘Genesis’ brand under which comes the G90 flagship sedan.
Speaking of the Tucson, the SUV comes bearing Hyundai’s signature hexagonal grille framed by LED headlamps with sleek lines and a bolder look.
The SUV will feature a 2.0-litre, CRDi diesel engine producing 175bhp of power and 402Nm of peak torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. According to reports, the Tucson will also be available in a 1.6-litre petrol engine with a top speed of 201kmph.
The price is still uncertain, but by the looks of thing the Tucson could fall anywhere between Rs 20 lakh – Rs 25 lakh. The SUV will challenge the likes of Honda CR-V, BMW X1, Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Chevrolet Trailblazer.
