Mercedes-Benz Launches the New A-Class in India Starting at Rs. 24.95 Lakh
Mercedes-Benz unveiled the facelifted A-Class about 6 months ago, and has now launched the car in the Indian market. The new A-Class comes with some cosmetic changes such as new bumpers, optional LED headlights, new allow wheel pattern, grille design, among other things.
The interiors of the A-Class has some noticeable changes as well. A new infotainment system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, depending on your fancy, an optional 8-inch display, new control buttons and upholstery.
The A-Class for India is available with 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine priced at Rs. 24.95 lakh and the 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine at Rs. 25.95 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Both options are paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The petrol engine provides 120 hp and 200 Nm, while the diesel gives 134 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
The A-Class completes Mercedes’ 15 launches for 2015 target. The A-Class will also be available in an all-new elbaite green colour.
