Volkswagen Launches Vento TSI in India at Rs 9.99 lakh

Volkswagen has launched the new Vento TSi in India at Rs 9.99 lakh (Ex Showroom Delhi). The Vento is powered by the 1.2 litre, four cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine producing 105bhp and 175Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Company claims the fuel efficiency of Vento TSi to be 16.93kmpl.

Vento TSI is equipped with safety features like ABS, an electronic stabilization program (ESP), hill-hold function, dual frontal airbags, 3-point seat belts at the front and an electronic engine immobilizer with floating code.

Commenting on the launch of the new Vento TSI, Arvind Saxena, Managing Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India said, “With the new Vento TSI, Volkswagen takes the lead with producing cars that are high-tech, powerful and fuel-efficient. With a turbocharged petrol engine and 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, the Vento TSI provides excellent performance and fuel economy,”
