2013 Toyota Innova Launched

The 2013 Toyota Innova has been launched. Toyota is offering a 2.5 litre diesel engine offering a peak power of 102 Bhp and 200Nm of torque which is mated with the same 5-speed manual gearbox.

The updated Innova is likely to be available in a total of 6 variants, including a new ‘Z’ variant which is only offered in diesel trim. The Innova facelift however hasn’t received any technical update, there are some cosmetic and minor design changes given to the car.

With the changes like bigger chrome grille, revised front bumper, new airdam with restyled fog lamps, the Innova facelift now looks much refreshed than before. The Innova facelift has received some changes inside the cabin such as improved fabrics, new infotainment system which also has a roof mounted screen and a beige color scheme for all other interior components. The gear lever knob is also wood-finished and Toyota offering twin airbags and ABS on the top-end variant.

The Toyota Innova is priced from INR 12.45 lakh to 15.06 lakh. The Toyota Innova will be competing with the cars like Maruti Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy, Nissan Evalia and non other than it’s main rival Mahindra Xylo. Stay tuned for more coverage.
