Maserati has Unveiled the Levante SUV
In what is a first for the Italian automaker, Maserati has just unveiled the Levante SUV. Maserati’s Levante now joins the ranks of the Porsche Cayennes and the Bentley Bentaygas and so on.
The images of the SUV released by the company reveal only the exteriors and not much else is known about the vehicle in terms of specifications. The little that is known is that the SUV will come with an 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and “a high level of content as standard.” The vehicle will be offered in both petrol and diesel options.
Maserati carries forward the design language of its coupes and sedans — the lithe GranTurismo, Quattroporte, and Ghibli. The Levante will be built in Turin, Italy and will go on sale this spring in Europe, followed by other markets “later this year”. The SUV will go on display at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
