Mercedes-Benz Teases C-Class Cabriolet
Mercedes-Benz on Sunday teased a sketch of the upcoming C-Class Cabriolet that is scheduled to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The C-Class Cabriolet will be the first convertible in the C-Class family. The car will make it appearance along with the Mercedes-Benz SL, Mercedes-Benz SL roadster and Mercedes-Benz AMG S65 cabriolet.
The C-Class Cabriolet will use a folding fabric roof rather than a hard top. Under the hood, the C-Class is likely to come with a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing a power output of 241hp at 5,500 rpm, mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The car can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 6.2 seconds.
The cabriolet version of the C-Class, when launched in India, will likely come with the same engine option. The diesel variant will feature a 2,143cc turbocharged four-cylinder engine which churns out 170hp of power and 400Nm of torque.
