Ford Endeavour Launches in India

The all new Ford Endeavour 2016 was launched in India today. The American auto major has priced it at between Rs 23.63 lakh and Rs 28.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Ford unveiled to eager customers in India the new generation Endeavour which the company had promised in 2015. After tasting success with the Figo Aspire sedan, and Figo hatchback, this is the third automobile launch for Ford in the 2015-16 fiscal year.

Endeavour which in its last avatar came with imposing dimensions, and nice interiors, looks set to take things up a notch by bringing to the market an all-new design, and feature set that are believed to make it the best in the segment.

The new generation Ford Endeavour comes with two engine options – a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder with 160PS on tap, and a 3.0-lite, 5-cylinder motor with 200PS of maximum power. It also will come with a nice feature set which will include the terrain management system helping you tackle any on-road or off situation. The terrain management system also allows the driver to shift-on-the-fly to maximise traction and stability. The system comes in multiple modes including normal, sand, snow/mud and rock mode.

The 2.2-litre manual engine claims to give a mileage of 14.12 km/l and automatic  claims fuel efficiency of  and 12.62 km/l respectively. The 3.2-litre engine returns a respectable 10.91 km/l of diesel. The vehicle comes in multiple variants.
