GM’s Stunning Buick Avista Concept to Debut at Detroit Auto Show
General Motors, at the North American International Auto Show, debuted the Buick Avista concept coupe. As the name implies, the Avista delivers on beauty and quality, showcasing the company’s vision.
The Avista is a 2+2 coupe that incorporates the Chevy Camaro platform in a very different, purely Buick design language. The coup’s rear wheels are powered by a 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine. The exterior highlights include 20-inch aluminum wheels with color-toned accents that match the car’s Dark Sapphire Jewel paint, and front fender vents with chrome accents which evolve Buick’s signature fender ports.
The interior features Buick’s own IntelliLink touchscreen. The concept also featured 3D printed doors and seat trims.
The car is stunner, and quite clearly one of GM’s more beautiful vehicles to date. If the concept goes into production, and it should, the Avista will draw the attention of the masses simply by its simple yet beautiful design. The coupe will go on display at the Detroit Auto Show this week.
