Mercedes-Benz Teases New 2017 E-Class
We are less than two weeks away from the Detroit Auto Show. You can expect to see some spectacular new cars on display, one of which will be Mercedes-Benz’s next generation E-Class. And to raise the curiosity of car enthusiasts everywhere, Mercedes-Benz has released a sketch of the 2017 E-Class that will be fully unveiled at the Auto Show.
“Emotional design and intelligent high-tech perfectly embody the Mercedes-Benz design philosophy of Sensual Purity,” Mercedes states in many of the social media sites after the release of the sketch. The teaser shows a sports grille and five-spoke wheels on the new E-Class. The exterior design is similar to what we see on the S-Class and C-Class.
Early last month, Mercedes had released images of the sedan’s interiors which showed a leather and wood styling, new seats designed for comfort, touchpad controls on the steering wheel and an ultra-widescreen display comprising of two 12.3-inch diagonal screens.
It is expected that the E-Class will be offered in E300, a E450 AMG Sport, and a Mercedes-AMG E63 S variants. Full specs of the new E-Class will be revealed during the Detroit Auto Show, on January 11.
