The All-Powerful Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV Launches in India

The Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV was launched in India today. General Motors brought a new addition to its lineup and it is priced at Rs. 26,40,000 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Earlier we had posted that Chevrolet India partnered with Amazon India for bookings of the Trailblazer.

The Trailblazer comes equipped with a 2.8-liter Duramax diesel engine that produces 200 PS (147kW) @3,600 rpm and 500 Nm of torque. The SUV also has a MYLINK 7-inch touchscreen where you can link up to your entertainment on the go. All this with the best-in-class design and ground clearance of 253 mm makes the Trailblazer the most powerful SUV in India.

“The Trailblazer is Chevrolet’s toughest yet most refined SUV, offering premium ride and handling dynamics,” said GM India President and Managing Director Arvind Saxena. “It has a commanding road presence and a host of first-in-class features along with the latest technology and design.”

The SUV has loads of safety precautions as well with dual air bags, electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), cornering brake control (CBC), hill start assist (HSA), hill descent control (HDC), traction control system (TCS), panic brake assist (PBA) and hydraulic brake assist (HBA).

The SUV will be available for bookings on AmazonIndia from the 21-25 October at a reservation deposit of Rs. 25,000. Bookings can also be made through Chevrolet dealerships.
