BMW 3-Series Facelift With Revamped Exterior and Superior Engine Arrives on May 7
BMW has revamped its fast-selling 3-series facelift with few major updates, and it is geared to unveil the luxury sedan at an event in Munich. The new model will launch a week from now, i.e. May 7. There have been rumours about the refreshed BMW 3-series, which gives a pretty good idea of what can be expected.
The BMW 3-series facelift is tweaked on the design front, and sizeable improvements will be experienced in its motor as well. The 2016 model by the German automobile manufacturer will have a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine, which is presently in fitted to 2-Series Active Tourer (Europe-only) and third-gen MINI Cooper. The sedan will give tough competition to the latest Mercedes-Benz C-Class. There are reports of a 2.0-litre petrol-electric hybrid as well.
Coming onto the exterior, the high-end version will sport a full adaptive LED headlight setup, a refurbished bumper on both ends, new tail lamps, and a kidney grille. Minor updates will be noticed in the interior as well.
