Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS Spotted in Indonesia

At an event in Indonesia, the Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS was seen alongside the new Pulsar 200 AS (adventure sports, based on the Pulsar 200 NS). The bike recently showcased was seen with ABS, and there is a rumour that the new Pulsar would feature a single-channel ABS system developed by Bosch.

Coming to the internal mechanism, the Pulsar 200 SS will sport a 199.5 cc engine that can churn out 23.52 bhp and 18.3 Nm of torque. The engine gets liquid-cooling and will be mated to a six speed gearbox. In addition, it will offer fuel injection that should facilitate better performance and improved mileage.

The Pulsar 200 SS is expected to hit Indian tarmac very soon, and is expected to be priced slightly lower than the KTM RC 200. The bike is expected to be priced between 1.2-1.4 lakh (ex-showroom), with the ABS variant to be priced about Rs.10,000-15,000 over the non-ABS variant.
