BMW’s M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe Ready to Set Indian Roads on Fire
BMW is on a launching spree in India. After introducing the M5 sedan and the peppy MINI hatchback, the automobile giant has launched the BMW M3 and BMW M4 in India today. Guess who was the guest of honour, cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar. The M3 sedan and M4 Coupe are priced at Rs. 1.19 and Rs. 1.21 crore respectively (ex-showroom).
Both cars will be powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, twin-turbocharged petrol engine that can churn out 431bhp at 5500-7300 rpm with a maximum torque of 550 Nm between 1850-5500 rpm. It can get accelerated from 0-100 is just 5 seconds while maintaining a top speed limit of 250 kmph.
Apparently, the new sedan is significantly lighter and more agile compared to its predecessor, courtesy of carbon fibre components and high tensile materials. Shedding of that extra junk, both vehicles are now claimed to be 25 percent more fuel efficient.
The cars will be available across all BMW dealerships in India in seven metallic colours – Black Sapphire, Silverstone, Mineral White, Mineral Grey, Austin Yellow, Yas Marina Blue and Sakhir Orange and in Alpine White as the only non-metallic paintwork.
