Kawasaki to Bring New Bikes to India on 16th October
International motorcycle bigshot Kawasaki will be bringing its new bike out on the 16th of October. Kawasaki’s earlier offering, the Ninja series was greatly appreciated for their style and performance. The company also has several high-level offerings. Now it seems like the company wants to take on the consumer market too.
Kawasaki is all set to launch the Z250 in India. The bike comes from the companies Z line of products that have the variants like the Z800 and Z1000. The Z250 resembles the Z800 and flaunts a muscular build.
The Z250 gets its headlight and tank designs from the Z800 but also gets borrows its tail section and alloy wheels from the Ninja 300. The protective fairing over the engine would be appreciated by naked bike lovers too.
The instrument panel on the bike includes an analogue tachometer and an LCD screen that displays speed, trip and fuel level information.
The bike gets its juice from a 249cc, liquid-cooled, fuel injected parallel-twin motor. It churns out 33bhp and 21Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox. It also comes with dual throttle valve technology to increase fuel efficiency.
The company will also be launching the 650 cc Er-69 which is quite a badass in itself. The bike’s parallel twin engine produces 71.1bhp at 8,500rpm. Its peak torque output is 6.5kgm at 7,000rpm.
With its brand partner Bajaj, the company has opened its dealerships in Pune, Delhi and Bangalore. Kawasaki has opened a new dealership in Chennai. The bike offerings are impressive and would look good on Indian roads. We just have to wait a day to find out the scope of affordability.
