Ferrari Unveiles the Super Hot 458 Speciale A
Italian Sports Car legend Ferrari unveiled a convertible. It’s called the Ferrari 458 Speciale A. The A stands for ‘aperta’ which is Italian for ‘open’, not too dramatic a revelation. The car is expected to make a debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Speciale A comes with a folding hard-top setup as a regular 458 Spider, which adds 50kg to the car. It takes the car 14 seconds to open and close the top. The car weighs in at 1445kg.
Under the hood, the car gets powered by a massive 4.5-litre V8 with 597 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. The car zooms from 0-100kmph in 3.0 seconds. Not just that, it reaches 200 Kmph in 9.2 seconds, it can seriously give the Flash a literal run for his money. On the controls front, the car sports a seven-speed twin-clutch paddle-shift gearbox.
The 458 Speciale A is an exclusive vehicle, and only 499 such cars will be produced. You can expect the car to be priced at £230,000 (around Rs. 2,30,50,000); a price tag it truly deserves for being the fastest, most aerodynamic car from Ferrari’s Spider family.
